Being a cyborg herself, Motoko has come to the conclusion that life itself is not limited to organic components and believes in the Puppet Master's claim to be a new life form. As she sees how this life form is treated, she begins to wonder about her own status among non-cybernetic humans. | |||||
In the struggle to protect the Puppet Master from the ministry of Foreign Affairs, Motoko and the Puppet Master are heavily damaged. The Puppet Master finally merges with Motoko's mind, preserving it's own life and expanding her conciousness to a completely new level. Her cyborg body remains shattered. | |||||
